Here it is, the first solo studio album that started it all. Produced, recorded and mixed by Bond Bergland in 2005 at San Pablo Recorders, Berkeley, California. Released on November 9, 2005 under Joe’s buddhist refuge name Karma Thinley Namgyal, these ten tracks tell the story of the 1959 migration of buddhism from Tibet to the West. At once rich and sparse, this all-acoustic production features iconic Martin guitars (six-string, twelve-string and bass) played by Joe, with rich vocal harmonies throughout. A sumptuous six-panel CD package with full color booklet, designed by visual artist Perry Hoffman. Incredible.
